Cider Swig at the Greater Peninsula Cider Festival in Washington State

September 29, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm PDT

$28 – $35

The Cider Swig returns on Saturday, September 29, from 12 to 5 p.m., in Gig Harbor, Washington, with dozens of regional ciders to sip, live music and entertainment on two stages, the 3rd annual “Battle of the Apple Pie” Contest, apple launching, award-winning delectable “curbside cuisine” by area chefs, restaurants and food trucks, the Apple Carnivàle Zone, Kids Applet Center, and more!

Northwest cidermakers will have nearly 100 ciders (and relatives) on hand for sipping. And, the Apple Carnivàle returns — replete with street artists, performers, an array of carnival games, an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, Apple Launching, cider demonstrations/talks by area experts, and other activities for the whole family.

Ciders presented for sampling in the Cider Garden, will be for sale under the Cider Tent, so you can take your favorite ciders home to enjoy.

Get your Swig on! Cider Garden tickets are $28.00 in advance (until 9/14), and $35.00, from 9/15 to the day of the event. A ticket includes: 5 drink tokens, 6 oz. festival tasting glass, and access to all live music and entertainment, food, the Apple Carnivàle Zone, and other festival activities. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged. Tickets are available online.

Additional cider tokens will be available at the festival. Please note: ID is required to enter the Cider Garden, and you must be 21+ to enter the Cider Garden.

This is an accessible and family-fun event. The Applet Center (drop-off and activities), is hosted by GGHF Curious by Nature School in the Volunteer Vern Pavilion. For a small fee, children ages 2 to 12, can play games, create art, and have a blast in a safe, clean environment while you enjoy the Cider Garden and other festival activities.
