“Delicious Regeneration: A Cider Pairing Experience” will take place on Sunday, September 16, at 3 p.m. at Healdsburg SHED in Healdsburg, California.
Taste the benefits and flavors of regenerative agriculture with Ethic Ciders. Its ciders are made with organic dry-farmed apples from responsible local orchards, including Ethic’s own farm, which also serves as a test bed for innovative regenerative agriculture practices. Healdsburg, California’s SHED and Ethic Ciders will be pairing their ciders with small plates featuring ingredients from other regenerative local farms. This eye-opening pairing will celebrate the role of local food systems in reversing climate change, including SHED’s commitment to going carbon neutral in 2018.
Regenerative agriculture is one of the most exciting sustainable agriculture practices taking root in Sonoma County. Founder Ned Lawton and Orchardist and Cidermaker Ryan Johnston will share how carbon farming can play a restorative role in the food system such as increasing high-quality yields, supporting soil fertility, encouraging biodiversity, and creating delicious cider!
