The Double Tap List: The Best of #Cider on Instagram (Aug. 26–Sept. 1)

Friday is finally here, cider lovers! (What a week, right?) Welcome back to our roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram.

It has been a busy week on Instagram in the #cidernation, from great harvesting snaps to the celebration of National Dog Day with lots of puppies. There has also been plenty of support for the relief effort from Hurricane Harvey.

Check out some of our favorites from August 26–September 1:

Talbott’s Cider Co.

Can’t grow a pear? Don’t worry, Talbott’s Cider did it for you!  Fresh from its farm, Talbott’s Cider Co. has produced a delicious perry that has been sweetened with Reisling wine. Pear hard cider and cheerful blooms = happy weekend!

Wyder’s Cider

Cheat day never looked so good!

If this is what a cheat day looks like, then all of that hard work was worth it! Wyder’s brings us the Prickly Pineapple, a delightful combination of prickly pear cacti juices and pineapple. We hear this pairs well with a slice of piping-hot Hawaiian pizza and a warm summer evening.

Starcut Ciders

Someone has been a good dog and deserves a treat! Starcut Ciders is celebrating National Dog Day with fluffy puppies and a bottle of cider from its vaults. Try a bottle of Starcut’s craft beverage as you take in the last of these beautiful summer days with your pooch!

New England Cider Company

Picked up some Roxbury Russet and Golden Russet from Bussa Orchard. #ciderseason

Harvest season is underway, and apple picking is in full swing. Check out the selection from Bussa Orchards in Connecticut. Beautiful and fresh—just how we like our food to be.  We are looking forward to seeing what New England Cider Company has in store for these tasty pommes!

KW Craft Cider

How inviting is this view? Summer is coming to a close, but it’s not over yet! Take the time this weekend to celebrate the last of the warm summer days with some cider … maybe even some KW Craft Cider. So find a chair, a body of water and kick back this weekend.

ANXO Cidery & Tasting Room

This week, we witnessed a devastating storm that impacted the lives of so many people and animals in Houston, Texas. Hurricane Harvey has left behind so much destruction and  need for immediate aid. ANXO Cidery has joined forces with the D.C. food and beverage community to raise donations for the hurricane victims. If you are in the Washington D.C. area this weekend, please stop by ANXO Cidery to help support the relief effort!
