Happy Friday, fellow #ciderlovers! March is finally here and spring is right around the corner (we say this as it’s snowing on the East Coast…)!
Anyway, Friday means we’ve got a fresh new version of The Double Tap List, our roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. The #ciderworld had lots of activity this week with happy hours, dog-friendly cideries and collaborations.

This is news that can make any day more bearable: Pierced Ciderworks, from Fort Pierce, Florida, now has daily happy hours! Enjoy $3 ciders, beer and wine from 3–6 p.m. every day. On Friday, March 2, guests can enjoy a great evening with live music by musician Terry Dobson. Want another reason to venture down to Pierced Cider? Good news for Henry! I love that Bold Rock is puppy-friendly. This type of news always warms my heart, when I hear of a company that is equally welcoming of two-legged and four-legged patrons. Bold Rock Mills River, located in Mills River, NC, opened in October 2015 and is within 20 minutes of the booming downtown Asheville! Its cider has been created with locally-sourced apples from Henderson County and you can just taste the crisp Carolina freshness! Stop in and enjoy a pint with your human and fur friends.
Far From The Tree Hard Cider

Collaboration alert! Far From The Tree Cider, of Salem, Massachusetts, joined forces with Boston’s very own Urban Grape to create a collaboration cider, Zeus! Zeus Cider is a wild fermented cider that will be available at Urban Grape starting March 1. With only 27 cases produced, the limited quantities of this heirloom cider will go fast, so hurry and get your share while you can!
