Who else is coming out this Saturday, June 23, to the PA Cider Fest in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania? Cider Culture will be there! This fun event will be hosted on the Hauser Estate, a beautiful venue and home to the one-and-only Jack’s Hard Cider. Come taste some of Pennsylvania’s amazing cider! From 12 p.m.- 4 p.m., sample delicious cider from Arsenal Cider House, Banter’s Hard Cider, Civil War Cider, and many other cider makers, in addition to Jack’s Hard Cider. At Cider Fest, there will be so many additional things to enjoy, too, including food trucks, live music and cheese makers! Yes, that’s right, there will be cheese! Don’t miss out, get your tickets here!

Schilling Cider House Portland

We want to send and say “congratulations” to the folks at Schilling Cider House Portland! They are hosting a “Cirque D’ Schilling” One-Year Anniversary Party this Saturday, June 23rd, to mark the occasion, and this looks like a really BIG CELEBRATION: 10+ cideries, tacos, dunk tanks, and puppies are allowed! This adult-only party will be featuring more than 25 varieties of cider from some of your favorite places, including Cider Riot, Portland Cider Co., and, of course, Schilling Hard Cider.  Your $25 ticket ($30 if you purchase your ticket at the door) gets you a pint glass and 5 tickets good for one cider each. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at $2 a pop.  This sounds like a great time, so check out Schilling Cider’s Facebook events page for more details on this event and how you can purchase tickets!

Santa Barbara Cider Co.

It warms my heart when I see people doing things for a great cause. Santa Barbara Cider Co. did exactly that on Wednesday, June 20th, by joining forces with Montecito Bank & Trust to host a fundraiser for the United Way of Santa Barbara County. Guests joined other fellow cider lovers from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. to enjoy great drinks and some particularly tasty Danish treats from Alice’s Aebelskabel’s food truck. 20% of all purchases went to the United Way. Thank you Santa Barbara Cider, for spreading the good vibes! We hope the event was a success! For more on the United Way and how you can get involved, click here.

It’s almost movie night at Far From The Tree Cider, but this won’t be just any movie night. On Wednesday, June 27th, Far From The Tree Cider will be hosting Speakeasy Donuts for a very special night of donuts, cider and a special showing of Little Shop of Horrors. If you have not seen this movie, then you have not seen Rick Moranis at his finest! Speakeasy will be bringing some of their treats that were inspired by the cult classic — the Audrey II Donuts! Guests can choose from two flavors, Blood Orange or Caramel. Due to high demand, there will be a limit to four donuts per purchase, so be sure to get to the event early to get your hands on your favorites first! Oh, and try not to inhale all four donuts before you grab a cider to drink!
