The Double Tap List: The Best of #Cider on Instagram (March 31–April 6)

Happy Friday to all of my #ciderlovers out there. It has been a great week, a busy week, and I think we can all agree the weekend needs to start right now!

The arrival of Friday means we’ve got a brand-new version of The Double Tap List for you, our weekly roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. It’s been another happening week in the #ciderworld, friends, with National Deep Dish Pizza Day, Passover and Easter, and cider runs.

Check out some of our favorite ‘grams from March 31–April 6:

Nine Pin Cider

Congratulations to @lucy_theberner for winning Nine Pin’s #CidreRoseDay photo contest this week! Look at that adorable face! Rose Cider has become the new rage in the cider community. Nine Pin Cider has created their own fantastic rose variety, combining cider they create with delicious New York apples with methods used to create rose wine. Available seasonally, Nine Pin’s Cidre Rose is full-bodied and delightfully refreshing.  If you have a great Cidre Rose photo, tag Nine Pin Cider and use #cidreroseday to have a chance at winning your own 4-pack of Cidre Rose! (And be sure to tag @ciderculture, too!)

Washington Gold Cider

April 5th marked an important day in our nation: National Deep Dish Pizza Day. We honor this thick-crust pie, oozing in cheesy goodness, by topping our pies today with some extra pepperoni (I’ll pretend that I don’t do this normally). Washington Gold Cider, located in Chelan, WA, appreciates a great pizza, as well. I can only imagine how amazing a slice would taste with their Original cider, made with 100% Washington-grown apples. Clean, fresh cider; nothing could be more refreshing!

P.S. @washingtongoldcider, if you find a way to have this deep dish shipped to your location, let me know because I would like one, too.

Stem Ciders

Baseball’s Opening Day was on March 29th, and Stem Ciders wants you to celebrate in style!  How cute are these tees?! I need to get one! Stop into Stem Ciders’ Denver, Colorado taproom to snag one of their limited-release shirts so you can show off your #cidergame at your team’s next game. (Hurry, because you know they will run out of your size… Classic story of my life!) Stem Cider also has a fun little Instagram contest going on where you can win yourself one of these tees, as well. Too bad I’m not a Rockies fan… #thisiscider

Jack’s Hard Cider

Whoa. Can we all just stop for a second and really READ the above post??! A 5K with DONUT STATIONS?! Jack’s Hard Cider, you are killing me. I’m doing a 5K this weekend and the race definitely will NOT have donut stations set up, and I feel like they are really dropping the ball. If you have not signed up for a Hard Cider Run at Jack’s Hard Cider in Gettysburg, PA, there is still time. If you are brave and select the “Hungry Apple” option for the run, you can enjoy a refreshing bite of donut at each mile marker, the perfect recharge your body needs to cross that 5K finish line! If you manage to eat all three and cross the finish line without needing to roll yourself to it, you will receive a second “Hungry Apple” medal! To find a Hard Cider run near you, click here.

Kurant Cider

Happy Sunday. Drink cider whatever you’re doing.

A post shared by Kurant Cider (@kurantcider) on

Well done, Kurant Cider! This is one post that manages to cover all of the bases: Passover, Easter and April Fool’s Day. No, Kurant Ciders is not brewing beer now, but they are pumping out some pretty amazing ciders. If you haven’t been lucky enough to try one yet, let me tempt you, even more, to go out and grab a 4-pack. Earth is Kurant’s crisp varietal, a blend of fermented apple juice and dry hop created with Mosaic hops which add light, citrusy notes. Bees is Kurant’s Bees off-dry cider sweetened with locally sourced honey, adding the slightest hint of sweetness. It’s Friday, so whatever it is that you do this weekend, drink some cider!

BONUS!!

I love when people have a good sense of humor. Thank you, @gooldorchards ! Happy Easter and Happy Passover!
