CiderFest, which is scheduled to unfold on Saturday, September 30, at the lovely Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, will combine cider sampling and historic home tours, all in one intriguing event. Guests will spend the afternoon visiting different historic homes on the Fairmount Park grounds and enjoying cider offerings from a number of local cideries.

    I enjoy all ciders but a crisp apple cider is my favorite.

    My favorite of all time is a cherry pie Cider I got at Stone and Key in Ambler. Rich, crisp, tart and amazing. I dream about it sometimes.

    Give me a dry cider any day! My favorite is Magners. I also loove these historic homes and this festival is going to be amazing.

    Sweet ciders! Recently became a big fan of fruit ciders put out by Austin East Ciders. Good stuff!

    When I first started drinking cider, it was the sweeter the better. Now I’m definitely becoming more partial to dry ciders!
