The Double Tap List: The Best of #Cider on Instagram (May 12–18)

Happy Friday, #ciderfriends! We have a busy weekend ahead of us with the Preakness Stakes and the Royal Wedding. So, pour yourself some bubbly cider and prep your fascinator for a fancy, fun-filled weekend!

The arrival of Friday means we’ve got a brand-new version of The Double Tap List for you, our weekly roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. It has been another busy week in the #ciderworld, with new releases, great causes, and the Royal Wedding!

Check out some of our favorite ‘grams from May 12 through May 18:

Bold Rock Hard Cider

Big news, #ciderworld! Bold Rock Hard Cider has a big release happening on June 2: Blackberry Cider! I’m so excited for this, as I sit here chowing down on my bowl of berries for breakfast. Bold Rock’s seasonal flavor cannot get much more summer-like than this, with a tart and refreshingly crisp blackberry punch to your palate. Just envision it: warm sandy beach, the sun rays are beaming down on you as you sit back in your beach chair with a cool, refreshing Blackberry Cider. I literally cannot wait! So, keep your eyes peeled, cider fans, for the release of the season and check out Bold Rock’s cider locator to find a local distributor near you.

Schilling Hard Cider

Take a good, hard look at these two cans, my friends, because it is voting time! Schilling Cider needs your help deciding which label to choose for its seasonal cider this coming winter. They have updated the look of the cute little owl and want the #ciderfans out their to decide which label they go with. I personally love the can on the left — red and purple just look so lovely together — but I will love either, because that owl with a knit cap is just too cute! Which one do you like? Comment on Schilling Cider’s Instagram page to have your voice heard!

Maine Beer Cafe

I love supporting a good cause, and I know many of you readers out there feel the same. So, if you happen to be in the neighborhood of Kittery, Maine this weekend, stop by the Maine Beer Cafe and order a pint for an amazing cause. For every pint of cider and beer sold this weekend, $1 will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project. How awesome is that?! From one look at Maine Beer Cafe’s draft and can list, I have a feeling this event is going to be a huge success. There are 20+ ciders to choose from to quench your thirst! For more on the Wounded Warrior Project, go here and help give back to the people who have given our country so much.

Ironwood Cider

Welcome to Clue #3 from Ironwood Hard Cider‘s mystery cider release! Last week, we shared the first clue as to what the secret cider could be. Turns out, the royal wedding cake is actually going to be lemon and elderflower, not banana like Meghan and Harry originally wanted. Lemon and elderflower sounds crazy-refreshing and, topped with buttercream, I bet it will just be absolutely to die for! So, I guess you can imagine at this point what the newest Ironwood Cider may be, and I absolutely can’t wait to try this delicious and fancy flavor! It sounds so regal! But that is just my educated guess. … What do you think the mystery flavor is? Comment below!

Nine Pin Cider

Did someone say “pizza”? Thursday, May 24, is a big night for Nine Pin Cider, as it marks the launch of its new gourmet sourdough pizza menu! Goat cheese + pesto … yes, please! The night will also feature live music, a ticket giveaway for Mountain Jam music festival and, of course, plenty of cider. Who wouldn’t want to chow down on a slice of pizza pie with Nine Pin’s Peach Tea Cider, a cider that has been cold-infused with a custom peach tea. YUM! Check out Nine Pin’s Facebook page for more on this fun event.

You look so regal with that crown, @sterlingthecidercorgi!
