The Double Tap List: The Best of #Cider on Instagram (Aug. 1–11)

Ahoy, fellow cider lovers! Welcome to our new weekly round up of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram.

There was a lot of refreshing news on the ‘gram this past week, including new #cider releases to quench your thirst and some super cool collaborations. We could not be more #excidered!

Check out some of our favorites of the last week or so:

Double Shovel Cider Co.

Double Shovel is Alaska’s first micro-cidery, and its Instagram account is peppered with all the outdoorsy activities and ridiculously beautiful mountains you’d hope for from an Alaskan company. We love this shot of a golden cider-filled growler alongside a kayak and clear running river. You can almost taste the epic-ness.

Ironwood Hard Cider

Hello, Cherrybomb! Ironwood Hard Cider of Ontario, Canada, has made a cherry cider that looks absolutely gorgeous. In the peak of its harvest season, these local Montmorency cherries have a hue of red fiercer than the hottest of summer days. Bet this is easy to crush on a hot afternoon!

Western Cider Co.

Alliances forged (and brewed) in friendship! For a First Friday event in Missoula, Montana, Western Cider and Black Coffee Roasting Company came together to host a Cascara, Coffee, and Cider tasting at Black Coffee Roasting Company. Featuring Black Coffee’s Black Honey processed coffee and a cider brewed with cascara by Western Cider, this event proves that who #brewlocal together, stay together! Fun fact: Cascara is also known coffee cherry tea.

Graft Cidery

Gose cider, you say? It’s real and it is brought to you courtesy of Graft Cider! A bright and fruity salted cider with lots of ginger, Desert Diamonds will have your taste buds going wild. Follow this up-and-coming NY state cidery to see some great behind the scenes photos of their sour cider production, and follow The Milled Apple’s IG for tons of cider tasting notes.

Windswept Cider

Simple and pure: Windswept Cider reminds us of where all of the delicious cider we enjoy comes from. Raw, natural materials and hard work go into each and every bottle, can and keg. Take a trip through Windswept Cider’s Instagram feed to watch their journey towards their creation of each cider and perry.

Bold Rock Hard Cider

What a view!  The Blue Ridge mountains are the perfect backdrop for #amazing photography. This photos make us yearn to pour a delicious glass of cider and #drinkup these views all day long!
