T.G.I.F., #ciderlovers! It is finally Friday, and we are so excited for the weekend!
The arrival of Friday means it’s time for a new version of The Double Tap List, our roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. The #ciderworld had lots of activity this week with tacos, President’s Day, and thoughts of summer!!

“Taco Tuesday” does send the wrong message… I am a firm believer that every day is a taco day! Santa Barbara Cider Co. hosted a Taco THURSDAY at their Santa Barbara taproom with the help of @disfrutatruck ! What goes better with cider than Santa Barbara’s Grand Lei, a hard apple cider, fresh pressed pineapple juice or Julie’s Mango, a cider chock full of fresh mango! Yum! It sounds like a good start to the weekend to me!

Join Jack’s Hard Cider at the 12th Annual Philly Craft Beer Festival this Saturday, March 3rd. From 1:30-5:00 p.m., guests can enjoy samples from 200 varieties of craft ciders and beers. Be sure to save room for some great food truck grub from Baby Blues BBQ, Philly Fry and many more! The Committee for Benefiting Children will also be there. They’ll be hosting a Toiletry Drive, so please check out this list to see what donations you can bring to help the effort. VIP and General Admission tickets are still available. Did you know that George Washington cultivated domesticated raspberries? On this President’s Day, celebrate our forefathers with a glass of Raspberry Rue at Good Road Ciderworks! The ruby hue of this cider is hard to resist. While you are there, try some of Good Road’s other selections, including For Peach Sake and Limbertwig, a single varietal cider. Who would not want to go see Angus?! How sweet is he? Someone please go to Meander River this weekend and give him a nice pet on the head for me. While you’re there, clearly you need to sit down and have some of their Shack Wacky Apple Cider, a seasonal cider made with pure juice from 100% Annapolis Valley apples. Pair this deliciously crisp variety with a creamy cow’s milk cheese and some great company!
