What day is it?! It’s FRIDAY!! Let’s all say it together: Hooray for the weekend!

The arrival of Friday means we’ve got a brand-new version of The Double Tap List for you, our weekly roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. It’s been a another happening week in the #ciderworld friends, with the aftermath of St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of spring, another Nor’easter along the East Coast and National Puppy Day.

Check out some of our favorite ‘grams from March 17–23:

Two Rivers Cider Co.

Two Roads Cider Co. was the place to be on St. Patrick’s Day! Music, food and cider all day? Yes, please! If you had the opportunity to stop by its Sacramento, CA taproom, hopefully you were able to get your hands on a traditional Salvadorean pupusas while jamming out with one of Two Road’s delicious libations, like the Huckleberry Cider, with delicious berry aromas and flavors. If you are not feeling as experimental, try Original Apple, made from 100% fresh-pressed apple juice from Barsotti Ranch in Apple Hill. Tart and sweet, it is the perfect accompaniment to a fun night with friends.

Sulker’s Cider

Meet Mack. Mack had a great St. Patrick’s Day. Almost too good. I believe Mack may have gotten his paws on too much Sulker’s Cider on Saturday night. Thankfully, he still had Sunday to recover from his cider shenanigans. Sulker’s Cider, based in Toronto, had plenty of varieties for Mack to choose from. Made with 100% Ontario apples, Sulker’s Cider prides itself on using only quality, fresh local ingredients in its innovative ciders. Super Dry is its flagship offering, which is a traditional crisp and dry cider. Taste the Galaxy is an interesting variety, made with Australian Galaxy hops that help to create a dry, yet fruity cider to tantalize your palate.  Want to give it a try? I know I am not the only person who is excited about the oncoming warm weather. Some of the U.S. may have had another snowstorm this past week, but that is not slowing down our springtime vibes! It is not stopping it for Fran’s Filling Station, either! Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Fran’s is celebrating the new season with cider. This past week, Fran’s hosted a three-course cider dinner, pairing delicious dishes with pours from Good Road Ciderworks. Guests began with Fran’s crispy brussels sprouts with pickled apples, brown sugar bacon and apple cider syrup and paired with Good Road’s Newtown Pippin. The second course sounded equally as delectable: Roasted pork loin with apple-golden raisin stuffing paired with the Raspberry Rue. I’m sure no one left that dinner hungry! Po’ Boy Brewery

We can all agree that Mother Nature has had the last laugh here, walloping the Northeast with, yet another Nor’Easter! (This was #4, for those of you who have lost track). Winter Storm Toby got on the last nerve of just about everyone, including Po’ Boy Brewery. Can you blame them for their hard feelings toward Frosty? Located in Port Jefferson Station, New York, Po’ Boy Brewery wants you to get out of your house this weekend and come visit. Swing by and grab a pint of its New England Tropic Cider, a cranberry pineapple hard cider made with six different apple varieties. Or try a Po’ Boy favorite, the Sangria Sunset, cider blended with refreshing sangria fruits for a taste of summer! Check out more of its cider selection here!

Far From The Tree Cider

Happy National Puppy Day! Friday, March 23rd marks a great day for all of my fellow dog lovers, a day to recognize the only things in our lives that never judge us or our cider consumption: Our puppies. Far From The Tree Cider shares my puppy enthusiasm, as well! It has an exciting spring coming up with lots of events, including an acoustic night on April 27 with  @pettymoralsboston. If you live in or find yourself in Salem, Massachusetts, come grab a glass of Patch, a strawberry basil cider, available between February and April. Grab a seat on the patio and enjoy the night. For more Far From The Tree events, see here.
