The Double Tap List: The Best of #Cider on Instagram (Oct. 21–27)

Friday is finally here, #ciderlovers. We hope this week treated you well and that you’re ready to get the weekend started!

The arrival of Friday means a new version of The Double Tap List, our roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. The #ciderworld has been full of events this week with continued relief efforts for the North Bay fires, Halloween bashes and cider week celebrations. Check out some of our favorites from October 21–27:

The Cider Junction

The relief effort for the North Bay region continues. This week, The Cider Junction in San Jose, Calif., hosted a North Bay Fire Relief Fund Cider Flight night to help its neighbors. 100% of the proceeds from the flights purchased that night went to the fire relief fund. The flight included selections from Tilted Shed, Sonoma Cider, Gowan’s Heirloom Ciders and Golden State Cider. Well done, The Cider Junction!

Black Bear Cider Co.

This weekend, come out and join Black Bear Cider Co. at the St. Louis Brewers Guild Halloween Party! Try some samples from many of the local cideries and breweries from the St. Louis area. Be sure to come in costume, because there will be prizes for the best individual and group costumes!

U.S. Open Cider Championship

If you haven’t tried it, you need to get yourself some wickedly good Green Apple Cider by d’s Wicked Cider Co.! Full of apple and caramel notes with an off-dry finish, it’ll be a win at your Halloween bash. Thanks for the suggestion, U.S. Open Cider!

J.K.’s Farmhouse Ciders

If you’re looking for cocktail ideas for your Halloween soiree this weekend, find yourself some JK’s Farmhouse Ciders and mix with your favorite coffee porter. The smooth, rich coffee notes blend perfectly with the fresh and juicy apple flavors of the Scrumpy Hard Cider. Bonus points if you can find coffee porter on nitro!

Potter’s Craft Cider

It might be Cider Week in NYC, but the Dacha Beer Garden in Washington, D.C., is celebrating its own version! The festivities kicked off this past Wednesday, and Potter’s Craft Cider was a part of the opening night’s activities. Samples of its Oak Barrel Reserve and Raspberries & Brett were on tap for attendees to enjoy. Delicious!

I dare you not to laugh at this! How cute are they?

This handsome guy got his hands on some delicious Jack’s Hard Cider for this weekend, and you should do the same!
